Crafted at the legendary 225 Parsons Street, the new H-157 continues the heralded story of Heritage Guitars and the brand’s commitment to tone, craftsmanship, and premium quality.
The Heritage Custom Shop Core Collection H-157 is available in two options: a curly maple top (Dark Cherry Sunburst) or a mahogany top (Ebony). The curly maple top accentuates the high frequencies, while the mahogany provides more depth in the mids. Aesthetically, this new model has been adorned with gold hardware and multi-ply binding on the body and headstock, which also features a beautiful Kite inlay. From the beloved tonewoods to the vintage-inspired details, every aspect has been carefully curated for performance and visual appeal.
Heritage Custom Shop is also equipping the Core Collection H-157 with the brand new 225 Hot Classic Humbuckers. These pickups are handwound with carefully selected parts, designed to deliver more oomph and power while retaining their dynamics and touch sensitivity. They particularly shine with distortion or heavier music. Additionally, the pickups are wax-potted to guard against unwanted noise and feedback. The final touches to the Core Collection H-157 include the well-loved 50s neck profile, block inlays, and a multi-ply black pickguard. Each guitar is shipped in a premium Heritage Custom Shop hard case along with case candies.
