Kalamazoo, MI, March 2019 – This month, Guitar World awarded their coveted Platinum Award for Excellence to Heritage Guitars for our H-150 model.
Guitar World reviewer Chris Gill described the H-150 as “so damn irresistible” noting that the “electronics and hardware reflect an emphasis on quality over cost cutting measures”.
He says “in the hands it feels like an old familiar friend, albeit one that has stayed in incredibly great shape.”

Hearing the news, Pete Farmer, Master Builder at Heritage Guitars said: “It’s an honor to receive such a coveted award and we will be using the excitement as motivation to continue our mission pushing the limits on what a great guitar looks and sounds like.
“Playability, aesthetics, and value are important to us. Over the past year we’ve honed our focus to ensure that every guitar that leaves our historic factory is the best possible example of what a Kalamazoo-made guitar should be. We are so pleased that players can feel the skill and care that goes into every Heritage instrument,” said Farmer.
