Harmony Partners With Reverb to Release a Limited Run of Reissued Harmony 8418 Amps

The Official Harmony Reverb Shop Offers First-Ever Chance to Buy an Authentic Reissued 8418 Amp from the Iconic Brand

Chicago, IL & Kalamazoo, MI (12 November 2019) – Reverb, a leading website and mobile app for buying and selling new, used, and vintage musical instruments, has partnered with iconic American instrument maker, Harmony, to exclusively release the highly anticipated Harmony 8418 Reissue Tube Combo Amplifier. From today, musicians and collectors have the unique opportunity to buy one of only 150 authentic 8418 reissue amps, available now via The Official Harmony Reverb Store

The Harmony 8418 Reissue Tube Combo Amplifier boasts the same classic looks, circuitry and hand-wired construction as the much beloved original 8418. All components are of the highest quality – from capacitors to the made-in-USA output transformer – and have been sourced by the Harmony team to faithfully recreate the experience and tone of the original amplifier.

Meng Kuok, CEO of BandLab Technologies said, “In speaking with Harmony artists and fans, we found a huge amount of love for the 8418’s compact and versatile design that feels right at home whether it’s in the living room or a small studio. We’re so proud of what this limited reissue brings to the table, tone-wise. The 6V6 vacuum tubes were picked to recreate the unmistakably sweet and warm tones of the ‘50s, while the made-in-Italy 6″ Jensen Alnico speaker offers a full and responsive sound perfect for vintage blues, jazz or rock.”

“I have loved seeing how BandLab Technologies has begun reviving the great American brand of Harmony. We are honored to be partnering to exclusively release Harmony’s first ever reissued amplifier. This 8418 amplifier is a piece of that history brought back to life – it’s a mean little thing and loads of fun to play!” said Jim Tuerk, Director of Business Development at Reverb.

Visit The Official Harmony Reverb Shop to purchase one of these limited edition amps, or head to harmony.co for more information.  Buyers can request that the amps be delivered to any location within continental U.S.
