KALAMAZOO, USA; 5 JUNE 2025 – Heritage Guitars (heritageguitars.com), maker of the world’s finest musical instruments, proudly marks four decades of American craftsmanship and innovation. Since its founding in 1985 at the iconic 225 Parsons Street facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the brand has grown from its American roots to become respected by discerning musicians around the world, delivering instruments that continue to inspire.
In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Heritage Custom Shop unveils two exceptional models: the 40th Anniversary H-150 and H-555. These limited-edition guitars embody Heritage’s legacy while looking boldly toward its future, representing the finest in materials, tone, and design.
At the heart of both models are the Custom Shop 40th Anniversary Edition 225 Classic Humbuckers. These special pickups are wound in-house with meticulous attention to detail, featuring unpotted coils for a lively, vintage-inspired voice and potted covers to reduce unwanted microphonic feedback. Each set is crafted with Alnico 5 magnets in the neck and Alnico 2 in the bridge, offering remarkable note separation, dynamic response, and tonal clarity across a wide range of styles.
Both models are fitted with figured maple pickguards and premium electronics, including Luxe bumble bee capacitors and CTS potentiometers. It’s a thoughtful blend of vintage character and modern precision.
The H-150 is finished in nitrocellulose Bourbon Burst with a deep cherry back, while the H-555 boasts a beautifully applied nitrocellulose Almond Burst. Refined details such as a comfortable ‘60s C-shaped neck profile, tortoise shell side dots, and fingerboard inlays with trapezoid for the H-150 and cat eye for the H-555 to complete these celebratory builds.
