Unlock A New Sound: Meet the Harmony Comet with Tremolo

KALAMAZOO, USA; 14 MAY, 2026 – Harmony (harmony.co) is adding a premium tremolo system to its best-selling Comet semi-hollow, bringing expressive vibrato to one of the most popular guitars in its made in USA lineup. Building on the legacy of the iconic ’60s Harmony H72, the Comet with Tremolo pairs tuning stability and creative range with its signature double-cutaway design.
The all-new Comet with Tremolo is centered around the Goldo LT1 tremolo, delivering smooth, musical vibrato with exceptional control and feel. From shimmering surf textures to emotive rockabilly bends and soulful bluesy swagger, it opens up a wider range of expressive possibilities—an essential upgrade for players seeking greater creative freedom in their sound.
Beneath the new hardware, the Comet retains its exceptional build quality and tone. Its immaculately carved genuine mahogany top and back deliver a warm, well-rounded, acoustic-leaning voice. A long-tenon set neck enhances sustain, while a center block helps minimize unwanted feedback. The Comet features custom Gold Foil humbuckers that cover everything from clean rhythm to driven leads, with a push/pull master volume that unlocks brighter, hollow out-of-phase tones when needed. A six-in-line headstock preserves the iconic H72 silhouette, while an included MONO Vertigo case ensures the Comet is ready for the road.
