The New Heritage H-137 Brings Raw Power to the Standard II Collection

KALAMAZOO, USA; 28 MAY 2026 – Heritage Guitars (heritageguitars.com) introduces the H-137 to its American-crafted Standard II Collection: a stripped-back, single-pickup solid body built for raw resonance, dynamic response, and unmistakable character. Crafted at the legendary 225 Parsons Street factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the H-137 pairs refined aesthetics with an in-house designed Custom Shop pickup.
“We’ve been incredibly inspired and encouraged by the response to the new Standard II Collection,” says Gerald Hooper, AVP of Channel Sales. “The Custom Shop Core Collection is really the best of what we build at 225 Parsons Street, guitars that reflect the craftsmanship and character Heritage is known for. With the Standard II Collection, we wanted to make a few thoughtful updates for modern players while staying true to our American-made craftsmanship. The new H-137 is a great example of that approach. It is stripped back, resonant, full of attitude, and built to let the work we do at 225 Parsons Street speak for itself.”
Key Features:
- Purposeful Craftsmanship and Resonance: The H-137 features a genuine mahogany body and neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard. Its single-pickup configuration maximizes wood mass, enhancing resonance and delivering a uniquely rich tonal character
- Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbucker Bridge: Designed and wound in-house, this pickup is built with a 2.5” rough-cast Alnico 5 magnet and features no cover, delivering articulate cleans and a more open, punchy, and dynamically responsive overdrive
- Expressive, Versatile Wiring: The H-137 delivers a wide range of tones from a single pickup through series/parallel switching, accessible via a push/pull tone pot
- ’60s Neck Profile: A slim, comfortable neck shape with substantial grip, inspired by the familiar feel of vintage instruments
- Refined Aesthetic: A headstock veneer featuring the ‘Heritage’ logo lends a more elevated appearance
- Made in the USA: Crafted at 225 Parsons Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan
The Heritage Standard II Collection H-137 is available in Ebony and 3 Tone Sunburst finishes. It is priced at $1,899 (US MAP). For more information, visit heritageguitars.com or contact select authorized Heritage dealers.
