Teisco Expands Line of Analog Pedals With New Overdrive and Distortion

The Teisco Overdrive (left) and Teisco Distortion (right) introduce the full spectrum of gain to this growing line of fun boxes

SINGAPORE & ANAHEIM, USA – JANUARY 15, 2020 – Building on the iconic brand’s successful pedal launch last year, Teisco steps it up in 2020 with the release of two new drive pedals, the Teisco Overdrive and Teisco Distortion. These new kids on the block combine Teisco’s signature bold visual and inspiring takes on classic tones, bringing the brand’s analog collection up to five pedals.

Randall Couvillon, Senior Manager, Channel Sales says “We’re very excited to introduce these new stompboxes to the Teisco family. Their striking designs, tone and value will resonate with long time Teisco fans and serious tone hunters new to the brand.”

Digging into the details of Teisco Overdrive and Teisco Distortion: The two dirt boxes offer boutique quality at an accessible price point with plenty of controls thanks to their switchable modes and the Distortion’s independent gain boost (aptly named ‘MORE’). They feature all-analog circuitry, sleek high-gloss designs, extra-tough zinc alloy enclosures, and a textured base plate for stronger velcro-adhesion, for which Teisco is known.

OVERDRIVE ($129.00): The Teisco Overdrive builds on a long tradition of “transparent” dirtboxes, interacting beautifully with your guitar and amp. This low-gainer is designed to be harmonically rich and dynamic, with a switchable mode that brings you into juicy medium-gain territory whenever you need it.

DISTORTION ($149.00): The Teisco Distortion is gain with attitude, which will satiate all your drive needs. With strong British flavor, five knobs, two toggle switches and two independent channels, this box provides plenty of EQ possibilities and endless amounts of classic gain on tap.

The pedals are available January 15, 2020 online and at select dealers. Visit www.teisco.com for more information.
